The Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Company is located in San Francisco’s Chinatown neighborhood that specializes in the production of handmade fortune cookies. The company was founded in 1962 and has been dedicated to producing high-quality, customizable fortune cookies ever since.

They make up to 10,000 cookies per day, depending on the season, and offers a variety of flavors in addition to the traditional vanilla, including chocolate, strawberry, green tea, and glazed. The cookies are baked fresh on a copper slow-release heat rotating griddle wheel and are shaped into the famous fortune cookie shape as the message is carefully placed inside.

On June 8, 2018, the company was officially celebrated with “Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Company Day” in San Francisco.
