The 48th Annual San Francisco Carnaval Festival returns to the Mission District over Memorial Day weekend, Saturday and Sunday, May 23–24, 2026, 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day. The free, two-day street festival spans 17 blocks with five main stages, 50 local performing artists, and 400 vendors. The 2026 theme is “La Copa del Pueblo” — the People’s Cup — honoring soccer’s role in unifying Latin America. Headliner: Su Majestad Mi Banda El Mexicano de Casimiro.
