What you need to know
House of Shields於1908年在New Montgomery Street開業，最初是周邊印刷廠和新聞社工作者的下層階級酒吧。這個空間幾乎沒有變化：深色木材、貫穿整個空間的長吧台、沒有時鐘。據說Warren Harding於1923年在這裡喝了最後一杯雞尾酒，幾小時後他在街對面的Palace Hotel去世。
