What you will find

The menswear and womenswear selection is deep across every decade. European vintage (German lederhosen and dirndls, Italian leather) sits alongside Americana, Hawaiiana, western wear, and denim. The range is unusual for a single shop. They also do costume rentals, which makes them popular for Halloween and themed parties.

Getting there

Held Over is at 1543 Haight Street, right in the middle of the Haight-Ashbury vintage strip. The 7 Haight and 33 Ashbury buses stop nearby. Open daily, with later hours on Friday and Saturday.
