Toronado has been on Haight Street since 1987 with a beer list that runs about 50 taps and 100+ bottles, all of it focused on rare, hard-to-find, and craft. The bartenders don’t suffer indecision. Know what you want or come back when you do. Cash only. The energy is part of the legend.

The Beer

Belgian sours, German lambics, West Coast IPAs, and rare Bay Area releases. The list rotates constantly. Special events around Christmas and Belgian Beer Day in March bring rare kegs.

The Space

Long bar, dim lighting, punk rock on the speakers, and the kind of patrons who came specifically for the beer. Rosamunde Sausage Grill is two doors down for food.
