What you need to know
The Food
Soft serve flavors include matcha, black sesame, hojicha, and red bean, made fresh daily. Taiyaki cones are baked to order. Toppings range from mochi to red bean to candied chestnuts. Lychee ice cream mochi, Earl Grey pudding, and pints to take home round out the menu.
The Fish Cone is the signature item: soft serve in the taiyaki shell.
The Space
Both San Francisco shops are small counter operations. The Japantown location is on the upper level of Peace Plaza with a few seats nearby. The SoMa shop on 4th Street has a quick-stop format.
