True Laurel is the Mission cocktail bar from chef David Barzelay’s Lazy Bear team. The bar opened in 2017 next door to Lazy Bear. Bartender Nicolas Torres builds cocktails around seasonal produce and house-made ingredients. James Beard semifinalist for Outstanding Bar in 2025 and a regular on the North America’s 50 Best Bars list.
