Audio is a small nightclub on 11th Street in SoMa. The room holds about 200 people and the design is built around the sound system, a Funktion One rig. The club opened in 2014 and programs electronic dance music.

What to Expect

The booking covers house, techno, and underground electronic, with both touring international DJs and Bay Area residents. The dance floor is the main space. There’s a bar along one wall. No VIP section, no bottle service.

The Funktion One installation is the venue’s identity. The sound is loud and clear with strong low end.

Visiting

316 11th Street, SoMa. Events typically run Friday and Saturday nights from 10pm to 4am. Cover ranges from $10 to $30. Some events run later. The bar serves drinks. No food.

Getting There

Late-night transit is limited; rideshare is the standard option. Civic Center BART is about a 15-minute walk for events that start earlier in the evening. Street parking on the surrounding SoMa blocks is available.
