What to Expect
The performance programming covers a wide range: traditional Mexican folk, West African dance, contemporary, and experimental work. Local companies use the theater for their seasons, and festivals bring in touring work. Dance Mission also runs a full schedule of classes in salsa, Afro-Cuban, ballet, and hip hop, on a sliding scale. Performances are not nightly, so check the calendar, and seating is general admission, so arrive a few minutes early.

24th Street Mission BART is one block west. The 48 Quintara/24th Street runs along 24th past the theater.
