ScentFest SF Opens at Fort Mason June 26 With 100-Plus Fragrance Houses
ScentFest SF, a three-day fragrance festival, opens Friday, June 26, 2026 at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture and runs through Sunday, June 28. Organizers bill it as the West Coast’s first international consumer fragrance festival, an event built for the public rather than the perfume trade, according to the Associated Press and the Fort Mason Center event listing.
The festival is held in the Gateway Pavilion at Pier 2, on the northern waterfront in the Marina district. It was founded by Sebastian Jara, who runs the YouTube channel The Perfume Guy.
What to expect
Fort Mason Center lists more than 100 fragrance houses and 500-plus individual scents, with brands from France, Italy, Brazil, Switzerland, China, Korea, and other countries. The Associated Press put the count at more than 110 houses. The program also includes more than 15 talks and panels across the three days.
One feature is the Osmotheque, the fragrance archive based in Versailles, France, which is presenting historic scents at the festival, including the original 1921 Chanel No. 5, according to the Associated Press. A talk series called Scent Sessions is presented by the perfume house Amouage, with its creative director Renaud Salmon and Kayali founder Mona Kattan among the named speakers.
