Start at the Dragon’s Gate on Bush Street at Grant Avenue and work your way through Waverly Place, Ross Alley, and Spofford Street. The Tin How Temple at 125 Waverly Place, founded around 1852, is one of the oldest Chinese temples in the United States and still active (the current building dates to 1910, after the 1906 earthquake destroyed the original).
