Dirty Habit occupies the fifth floor of Hotel Zelos on 4th Street, overlooking the blocks between Union Square and Moscone Center. The bar stocks over 640 whiskeys, which is enough to keep a dedicated whiskey drinker exploring for years. The craft cocktail program and elevated New American food menu round it out, but the whiskey is the draw.

The drinks

The whiskey selection is the deepest in San Francisco: bourbon, rye, scotch, Japanese whisky, and rare bottles that rotate through the collection. The cocktail menu is built by people who know how to use the inventory. The food menu serves New American dishes substantial enough for dinner.

The space
