Hi Tops opened on Market Street in the Castro in 2012 as the country’s first gay sports bar. Multiple TVs, beer in big mugs, sliders and wings on the menu, and a crowd that turns out for Giants games, Niners games, drag karaoke, and bingo. Different theme nights, same welcoming room.

The Bar

Beer and shots is the format. Long beer list with a focus on local breweries. Cocktails are simple and well-made. Bingo and drag bingo nights several times a week. Watch parties for major games and award shows.

The Space

Long, narrow bar with TVs covering the walls. Picnic tables down the middle. Loud during games, just as loud during drag bingo.
