작동 원리
카메라 옵스큐라는 외부 빛을 작은 구멍을 통해 어두운 표면에 초점을 맞춘다. 이곳은 지평선을 스캔하는 회전 거울이 추가되어 있어, 장면이 접시 위를 천천히 이동하며 파도와 산책하는 사람들을 실시간으로 볼 수 있다. 이 구조물은 1946년 Floyd Jennings가 지었으며, 미국에 남아 있는 몇 안 되는 대중 이용 가능한 카메라 옵스큐라 중 하나로, National Register에 등재되어 있다. 오두막은 작은 편이며, 투영 이미지를 선명하게 보려면 렌즈에 낮 시간대의 햇빛이 필요하다.
