15 Romolo sits down a North Beach alley off Broadway, next to The Beat Museum. The room has been one of San Francisco’s most reliable craft cocktail bars since 2007, run by industry veterans who came up at Bourbon & Branch. The vibe is dive-bar-meets-craft-cocktail: tin ceiling, dim lighting, no pretension.
The Drinks
Bartender’s choice is the move. Tell the staff what you like and let them go. The printed menu has around a dozen cocktails that rotate, plus all the classics. House-made tinctures, infusions, and bitters. Beer and wine programs are tight.
