Russian Hill은 Nob Hill 북쪽 언덕에 있는 주거 지역으로, Polk Street과 만(bay) 사이에 위치한다. 주로 Lombard St.로 알려져 있다.

Macondray Lane은 Leavenworth와 Taylor Streets 사이에 있는 나무 계단 통로다. Armistead Maupin은 이곳을 그의 소설 Tales of the City에 나오는 Barbary Lane의 모델로 사용했다. 양치식물, 꽃이 핀 덩굴, 그리고 인접한 정원들이 난간을 따라 늘어서 있다.

Vallejo Street 계단은 Mason과 Jones 사이 아파트 건물들 사이를 가로지르며 만(bay)의 전망을 제공한다. 계단을 따라 있는 계단식 정원들은 공용 보도에서 볼 수 있다.

George Sterling Park는 Hyde와 Lombard에 있다. 위쪽 테라스의 벤치들은 서쪽으로 Golden Gate Bridge를 향해 있다.

Jack Kerouac은 1950년대 초 언덕 동쪽 경사면에 있는 29 Russell Street에 머물렀다. 그곳에서 그는 “On the Road”를 수정하고 “Visions of Cody”를 작업했다. 이 건물은 개인 주택이며, 거리 전경은 공용 보도에서 볼 수 있다.
