Muni Payment Changes: MuniMobile Single Rides End August 1, Cable Car Fares Rise in January
Two changes are coming to how riders pay for Muni: single rides and Muni-only day passes leave the MuniMobile app on August 1, 2026, and cable car fares move to a $12 and $18 structure in January 2027.
