What you need to know
舊金山有數百條公共階梯蜿蜒穿過其山坡，許多兩側都種植著花園，值得自助探索。
幾條值得停留的階梯：Telegraph Hill上的Filbert Steps，兩側種滿了花園和野生鸚鵡，可通往Coit Tower。Sunset區的16th Avenue Tiled Steps以Aileen Barr和Colette Crutcher製作的海景到天空的馬賽克聞名。Pacific Heights的Lyon Street Steps筆直而上，可欣賞Marina和Palace of Fine Arts的景色。The Castro附近的Vulcan Stairway蜿蜒上升，兩側是花園和私人小屋。
