Father’s Day Bonfire Night at Ocean Beach

Head out to Ocean Beach on Father’s Day evening for a free bonfire night starting at 5:00 pm. It’s one of the classic SF ways to spend a Sunday evening — fire pits on the sand, the Pacific in front of you, and no cover charge. Ocean Beach is one of the few places in San Francisco where beach bonfires are a legitimate tradition. Arrive early to get a good spot, bring layers (the fog doesn’t take nights off), and plan to stay as the sun goes down over the water.
