Father’s Day Bonfire Night at Ocean Beach

Head out to Ocean Beach on Father’s Day evening for a free bonfire night starting at 5:00 pm. It’s one of the classic SF ways to spend a Sunday evening, fire pits on the sand, the Pacific in front of you, and no cover charge. Ocean Beach is one of the few places in San Francisco where beach bonfires are a legitimate tradition. Arrive early to get a good spot, bring layers (the fog doesn’t take nights off), and plan to stay as the sun goes down over the water.
