Wave Organ

Wave Organ - en lydinstallasjon. Opprettet i mai 1986 av Peter Richards fra Exploratorium med byggmester George Gonzales, laget av 25 PVC-rør og sement med steiner fra rivede deler av Laurel Hill Cemetery. Gratis, åpen 24 timer i døgnet, ligger på kaiene ved St. Francis Yacht Club. Lyden er sterkere ved høyvann. Konsulter NOAA før besøket ditt.

Japanese Tea Garden

America's oldest public Japanese garden, established for the California Midwinter International Exposition of 1894. The Hagiwara family managed the garden from 1895 to 1942; Makoto Hagiwara is credited with introducing fortune cookies at the teahouse. Three acres in Golden Gate Park; free for SF residents with ID, free for everyone before 10:00 AM Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
