Battle of the Decades at Monroe (North Beach)

Battle of the Decades is a weekly DJ dance party at Monroe, a club at 473 Broadway in North Beach. It runs every Friday from 5 p.m. until 2 a.m. Entry is free with an RSVP. What to Expect A DJ plays one decade per hour, from the 1960s forward, and the drink prices track the decade: $1 drinks during the 1970s hour, $2 during the 1980s, and up from there. There are two rooms, an outdoor patio, and $2 tacos through the night. The crowd is 21 and over, and the dress code is smart casual.
