Fisherman’s Wharf Is Getting a New Holiday Ice Rink This November

A 6,300-square-foot outdoor ice rink opens at Fisherman’s Wharf on November 4, 2026, filling the gap left when the Embarcadero Center’s holiday rink closed nearly seven years ago.

What’s Opening

The rink sits at 80 Jefferson St. and will run daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. through January 18, 2027, a 76-day season. On Ice Rinks LLC, the operator, expects more than 50,000 skaters over the season. Tickets go on sale October 1, 2026.

Why It’s Coming to the Wharf

The Port of San Francisco announced the rink as part of its ongoing work to bring more activity to the waterfront. Port of San Francisco Executive Director Michael Martin said the rink “brings a wonderful new dimension to the waterfront gathering tradition.” Hoodline and SFist both reported the rink as the largest holiday ice rink currently operating in the city, citing the Port’s announcement.

What Else to Know

The season will include holiday lighting, live music, and community programs, according to the Port’s announcement. The rink replaces the seasonal rink that used to operate at Embarcadero Center, which stopped running about seven years ago.
