The 8th annual Bay Area Chuseok Festival takes over the Presidio’s Main Parade Lawn on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 11am to 4pm. Admission is free and the Presidio Trust lists it as open to all ages.
What to Expect
Chuseok is the Korean harvest holiday, celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month. The festival is organized by Korean Center, Inc., a San Francisco nonprofit, and the program covers live performances, Korean food, cultural activities, local vendors, youth programming and community groups.
The Main Parade Lawn is the open field at the center of the Presidio’s Main Post, north of the Presidio Officers’ Club, and it looks out toward the Golden Gate Bridge. Admission is free, and the organizers ask attendees to RSVP through Eventbrite in advance.
September 26 is a busy Saturday in San Francisco. Portola runs at Pier 80 on the 26th and 27th, and the Folsom Street Fair follows in SoMa on Sunday the 27th.

Cost: Free, RSVP encouraged. Getting there: The Presidio Trust directs visitors to the 43 Masonic, which stops at the Presidio Transit Center near the Main Parade Lawn. Every Presidio GO Shuttle route also stops at the Transit Center. Paid parking is available near the Main Post lawn.
