Thrill-O-Ween, the free outdoor Halloween afternoon at Thrive City, the plaza around Chase Center in Mission Bay, is set for Saturday, October 24, 2026, from noon to 5pm.
What to Expect
Thrive City’s event listing promises a costume contest, live entertainment, trick-or-treat stations, a mini pumpkin patch, a photo op, arts and crafts, and a screening of E.T.. It is aimed at all ages. Space is first come, first served, and the plaza’s restaurants and bars sell food and drink.
Thrive City’s plaza rules apply: no coolers, lawn chairs, outside alcohol, drones, amplified sound, bikes, skateboards or scooters on the plaza, and no full face coverings (limited face paint is allowed). Pets must be leashed.
For a ticketed, adults-only option the same evening, the California Academy of Sciences holds its SuperNatural party on October 24 from 6:30 to 9pm. Terror Vault’s SLASHED: Return to Hellville runs at the Old Mint on selected nights through November 1.
