Sundown Cinema, the San Francisco Standard’s free outdoor movie series, screens Beetlejuice (1988) at Crane Cove Park on Friday, October 16, 2026. The night includes a Halloween costume contest.
What to Expect
Activities begin at 5pm and the film starts around 6:30pm, just after sunset. Admission is free and open to all. RSVP is optional: the form on the Standard’s Sundown Cinema page enters you for a chance at a reserved seating section near the screen.
Attendees can bring canned goods for the SF-Marin Food Bank, and a truck on site delivers them after the screening. Amazon, which presents the series, is giving one winner per screening an Amazon Wish List worth up to $1,000.
