The Beehive
The Verdict
"Order a negroni and the fondue. Walk-in only."
What you need to know
The Concept
The Beehive opened on Valencia in 2018 from the team behind Range and The Treasury. The space is a 1960s throwback: honeycomb wallpaper, wood-paneled walls, low-slung seating, smoked mirrors, and Jetsons-era lamps.
The Drinks
Era-appropriate craft cocktails anchor the menu. Negronis have their own section with multiple variations on the printed list. Mezcal fondue and Tang slushies show up too.
The Food
Chef Phil West (Range, The Treasury) and Executive Chef Byron Gee run a fondue-forward menu. Cheese fondue, mezcal fondue, dipping plates, and bar snacks.
The Space
The main bar holds around 50 people. The Lounge is a separate 1,000-square-foot private room with its own entrance on Cunningham Place, available for buyouts of 12 or more.
