The BeChinatown Night Market returns to Grant Avenue on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 5pm to 9pm, one of six dates running May through October 2026.
What to Expect
The free event covers five blocks of Grant Avenue between California and Pacific streets, with more than 40 food vendors, live music, and lion dancing. Two blocks of Waverly Place add games and arts and crafts. Participating shops along the route offer promotions to market visitors that evening. The market is organized by BeChinatown in partnership with the Civic Joy Fund and draws 10,000 to 18,000 visitors each date.

Getting there: The 30 Stockton and 45 Union/Stockton Muni lines serve Chinatown. Powell Street BART and Muni Metro station is about a 10 minute walk.
