SF Halloween Hoopla Kids’ Festival and Costume Parade

Sat, October 31, 2026 · 12:00 PM

Now in its 26th year, the Halloween Hoopla is one of SF’s most enduring family Halloween traditions. This free community festival is geared toward little ones under 10 and their grown-ups, making it a low-key, age-appropriate way to celebrate the holiday without the late-night chaos. The afternoon lineup includes a costume parade, games, activities, and seasonal entertainment designed for young trick-or-treaters. It’s a great way to kick off Halloween with neighbors and fellow families before the evening candy runs begin. Admission is free. The festival starts at noon.
