The Yerba Buena Gardens Festival is a free outdoor performing arts series at Yerba Buena Gardens in downtown San Francisco. The 2026 season is the festival’s 26th and runs from May into the fall, with more than 100 free performances spanning music, dance, theater, film, and spoken word. Every event is free and open to the public. What to Expect Performances take place on the lawns and stages at Yerba Buena Gardens, between Mission and Howard Streets. Recurring programs include a Thursday lunchtime concert series, weekend music sessions, a children’s garden series for families, salsa nights, and outdoor film and theater.
