Historien
Gary Frank åpnet The Booksmith på Haight Street i oktober 1976. Nåværende eiere Christin Evans og Praveen Madan kjøpte butikken fra ham i 2007. San Francisco tildelte Booksmith Legacy Business-status i oktober 2016.
