What to Expect
The room closed in April 2023. A revival called The DeLuxe, led by a former Club Deluxe bartender and the founder of Mr. Tipple’s, won city approval for live music until 2am seven nights a week and is slated to reopen with a new stage, sound system, and cocktail menu; check thedeluxesf.com for current status before visiting. The original hosted small jazz combos, with the stage in the same small space as the bar, and no cover on most jazz nights. Restaurants on Haight Street are close, with Cha Cha Cha a few doors down.
