Le Geary Theater sur Geary Street est la scène principale d’ACT depuis 1967. Le bâtiment Beaux-Arts de 1909 a été reconstruit après les dégâts du tremblement de terre de Loma Prieta en 1989 et a rouvert en 1996. ACT, fondé en 1965, présente une saison complète de pièces de théâtre ici, ainsi que le programme de conservatoire qui a formé Annette Bening, Denzel Washington et Winona Ryder. Environ 1 000 places réparties entre l’orchestre et deux balcons.
