Dima & Her Trio

Singer Dima brings her trio to Bird & Beckett Books & Records for an evening of jazz standards. She is joined by David Udolf on piano, Chris Amberger on bass, and Akira Tana on drums. The description highlights her jazz vocal style, which draws on the sounds of the early 1950s and a foundation built while studying with pianist Merrill Hoover. It calls out her lyric command, tone, and improvisation. Doors and show start at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $20.
