Swati Jhaveri: Monthly Morning Ragas

Vocalist Swati Jhaveri performs morning ragas at Bird & Beckett Books & Records. Jhaveri trained under Pandit Hemang Mehta of the Mewati Gharana, and has studied with multiple accomplished gurus including Pandit Pratap Narayan and Pandita Kankana Banerjee. She founded Swara Institute for Music Research and Appreciation to expand access to Indian classical music through teaching and performance.
