Stern Grove Festival 2026 — Season Opener (Peter Cat Recording Co. + Marinero)

One of San Francisco’s most beloved summer traditions returns for its 89th year. The Stern Grove Festival opens Sunday at 2 PM with Peter Cat Recording Co. and Marinero performing at the natural amphitheater tucked into the Sunset District at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard. The series runs every Sunday through, and admission is completely free. Because the venue caps attendance at 10,000, reservations are required and distributed via lottery at sterngrove.org — so plan ahead and enter early.
