Fiesta de las Americas returns to the Mission on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The free street festival is run by the Calle 24 Latino Cultural District and covers the culture, art and music of the Americas, with a focus on the Latino communities that have lived in the neighborhood for generations.
What to Expect
Calle 24 programs multiple stages, including a dedicated youth stage, alongside booths from local artists, nonprofits, and small businesses from the 24th Street corridor. As of late August the organizers had published the date and opened vendor applications, but the stage schedules and the music lineup were still listed as coming soon on the Calle 24 site. Check calle24sf.org in early September for the running order.
The Background
Calle 24 is San Francisco’s Latino Cultural District, covering 24th Street and the blocks around it in the Mission. Fiesta de las Americas is the district’s annual street celebration and is held in September.
Getting There
Take BART to 24th Street Mission and walk east along 24th Street. The 48 Quintara-24th Street runs the length of 24th Street, and the 14 Mission runs on Mission Street. Street parking in the Mission on a Saturday is difficult even without a festival closure, so transit is the better option.
