Book Club of Californiaは1912年に創立された非営利団体で、細密印刷、造本美術、カリフォルニア文学史に専門を絞っている。ライブラリの蔵書には貴重版、美しく印刷された本、カリフォルニアと西部に関する著作が含まれており、ほとんどの公共図書館には所蔵されていない。
クラブは活版印刷術、装丁、レタープレス印刷、文学史に関する定期講演会、展示会、イベントを開催している。多くのイベントは公開されている。
スペースは小さい。現在の展示を閲覧する訪問時間は20～30分である。
Visiting
Hours: ほとんどの平日は11:00 AM-5:00 PM。現在の営業時間とイベントはウェブサイトで確認すること。
Cost: 展示会は無料。一部のイベントは有料。メンバーシップあり。
What to know: Sutter Streetの建物の5階にある。ドアのベルを押すこと。
Getting There
Transit: BARTでMontgomery Stationまで行き、徒歩2分。Muni 2-Clement、3-Jackson、または38-Geary（Sutter and Kearny）で到着。
Parking: Union Square garageまたは近くのSutter-Stockton garage。
Walking: Union Square shopping districtにあり、ギャラリーとTheater Districtの近く。
