The Richmond是位于Arguello以西、Golden Gate Park以北的居民区网格，一直延伸到Ocean Beach。这里一年中大部分时间都常有雾。

Golden Gate Park构成了该区的南部边界。公园西半部通常比东半部安静。园内有：野牛围场、两座荷兰风车（位于公园西缘北端、配有Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden的Dutch Windmill，以及南端的Murphy Windmill），还有一连串湖泊。
Ocean Beach是各条大道的尽头，是一片长长的太平洋冷沙滩。一个趣味知识：潜水衣就是在Ocean Beach发明的。
Lands End步道沿着该区西北角的海边悬崖延伸。Sutro Baths遗址就在步道起点；最初的Sutro Baths于1896年开放，是一处室内咸水游泳池建筑群（当时被称为世界上最大的），于1966年焚毁。
