Spirited Away 25th Anniversary

The Castro Theatre is screening Spirited Away for its 25th anniversary. This Studio Ghibli classic won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and remains one of the most celebrated animated films ever made. The film follows Chihiro, whose family’s move takes an unexpected turn when they explore an abandoned village and her parents undergo a mysterious transformation. Runtime: 2 hours 5 minutes. Rated PG.
