Kutting Korners: Tribute to the Legendary Keystone Korner
From 1970 to 1983, Keystone Korner was one of the most important jazz rooms in the country — a San Francisco venue that captured performances by Freddie Hubbard, Bobby Hutcherson, Cedar Walton, Joe Henderson, Red Garland, Sonny Stitt, Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, The Timeless All-Stars, and more on record. Kutting Korners is an all-star Bay Area based ensemble paying tribute to those legendary live albums and the retired club that made them possible. The show is at Black Cat, with doors at 6:00 PM and the performance starting at 7:00 PM. Tickets range from $20 to $50 (price includes a $5.50 processing and ticketing fee).
