Cheaper Than Therapy is one of San Francisco’s most consistent stand-up venues, running shows out of the historic Shelton Theater in Union Square. Each night features five to six experienced comedians, hand-picked for the lineup, with occasional guest drop-ins keeping things unpredictable. Doors open at 7 PM and the full bar is available immediately — grab a craft cocktail before the show kicks off at 7:45 PM. Plan to check in at the box office by 7:30 PM, as last seating is at 8:05 PM. Shows wrap by 9:15 PM, making it an easy weeknight out. No drink minimum required.
