Cobb’s Comedy Club has booked stand-up in San Francisco since 1982. The current room at 915 Columbus Avenue in North Beach seats 400 and runs a full dinner menu and a full bar.
The Room
Cobb’s opened on Chestnut Street in the Marina District as Cobb’s Pub in 1982. It moved to the Cannery Shopping Center at Fisherman’s Wharf in 1987 and operated there for over a decade. A fire in 2002 pushed the club to its Columbus Avenue address, where it has been since.
Who Plays There
The club books touring headliners on multi-night runs, usually with an opener and a host. Comedians the club lists among its past performers include Dave Attell, Michelle Wolf, Andrew Santino, Donnell Rawlings, Godfrey, and Frankie Quinones.

Shows are ticketed and the calendar changes week to week, so check what is booked before you go. The box office is closed Monday and Tuesday unless a show is scheduled that day. Seating is at tables and is assigned by arrival order within your ticket tier, so arriving early gets you closer to the stage.
Getting There
The club sits on Columbus Avenue at the north end of North Beach. The 30 Stockton and the 45 Union/Stockton serve the neighborhood, and the 8 Bayshore runs along Kearny Street. Parking in North Beach is genuinely hard, especially on weekend nights, so transit or a ride is the practical option. Check SFMTA for the nearest current stop.
