Art & Exhibitions Patch Bay: Render Settings with Mikey J + Ratha Nou
Gray Area’s weekly Patch Bay series hosts Render Settings, a timed art-making challenge for visual artists, designers, and anyone curious about creative experimentation. Inspired by music producers who turn the same sample into entirely different tracks, the evening starts with Ratha Nou introducing a creative brief and a set of source materials. Participants develop their own interpretations using whatever tools and techniques they prefer. Illustration, collage, painting, graphic design, 3D, and motion work are all encouraged, and both digital and physical media are welcome. The night closes with a group showcase where everyone shares their work and talks through their process.
