Show up to Madrone Art Bar, and you’ll walk in the door with one thing: a prompt. What you do with it is entirely your call. Thirst Draft is a writing event built around a shared prompt given to everyone at the start of the night. Poems, songs, short stories, jokes — any form goes, and the prompt is yours to interpret however loosely or literally you like. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or someone who hasn’t touched a notebook since high school, the format keeps it low pressure and open ended.
