Show up to Madrone Art Bar, and you’ll walk in the door with one thing: a prompt. What you do with it is entirely your call. Thirst Draft is a writing event built around a shared prompt given to everyone at the start of the night. Poems, songs, short stories, jokes, any form goes, and the prompt is yours to interpret however loosely or literally you like. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or someone who hasn’t touched a notebook since high school, the format keeps it low pressure and open ended.
