Patch Bay: Yoon Chung Han + Tori Sommerhof [Artist Talks] at Gray Area. For the inaugural Patch Bay series, we’re excited to welcome current exhibiting artists Yoon Chung Han and Tori Sommerhof! Join us at Gray Area for happy hour, and artist talks where we’ll take a closer look at current works on view. Yoon Chung Han’s solo exhibition Dreaming Babies: illi transforms our gallery into a fantastical nursery for 23 virtual babies. Drawn from real genetic data, each simulated baby represents a different human chromosome, inviting the audience to consider the hidden potential that lies within our genetic code. Tori Sommerhof’s Requiem Aternum is an experimental film composed entirely of found physical media: graphic design textbooks, computer manuals, religious pamphlets, and other banal ephemera. Presented as a part of our new spotlight series Machine Vitrine,
