The Nourse Theater on Hayes Street, behind Davies Symphony Hall, is a 1,650-seat house operated by City Arts & Lectures. Built in 1927 as Commerce High School’s auditorium, the space hosts City Arts lecture programming, dance, and concerts. The recent renovation kept the original art deco detail.
