The Orpheum Theatre opened in 1926 at 1192 Market Street as a vaudeville house. It is now a BroadwaySF venue, programming touring Broadway productions through the season. Capacity is 2,203 across the orchestra, mezzanine, and balcony. The Spanish Gothic interior, with its carved plasterwork and vaulted ceiling, was restored in the 1990s.
