Great American Music Hall on O’Farrell Street has been a concert venue since 1972, in a building that opened in 1907 as a bordello and burlesque hall. The room holds about 600 standing or 470 seated. Frescoed ceilings, balconies on three sides, and original detail throughout. Programming covers indie rock, jazz, alt-country, electronic, and singer-songwriter.
